DPR Permit Office - Permits and Reservations
 
The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Permit Office manages and issues permits for all DPR facilities and sites, community gardens, and for picnic areas at Rock Creek Park and Fort Dupont Park, operated by the National Park ServiceA permit is required for the use of any DPR facility or site by: more than 10 people for an hour or more; organized leagues; or for special events or the reservation of a multipurpose room.

How to Apply for a DPR Permit
DPR permits can be completed online via DPR's online registration systemIf an applicant does not have computer or internet access, they can complete the online application at a DPR registration siteThe DPR Permit Application Form is also available online*.  Online applications are currently not accepted for field use; please submit all field use applications by using the DPR Permit Application*.
Permit Policies and Fees
Please allow 2 business days for permit applications to be processed.  For questions about DPR Permit Policies and Fees, please call the DPR Permit Office at (202) 673-7667.
 
Availability of DPR Facilities and Sites
Applicants can search for the availability of DPR facilities and sites online.

For technical support in completing the online application, please call (202) 391-1728, 9 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.  For all other questions, please call the DPR Permit Office.
